The Turin Campus' flagship specialist programme, which aims to create the future ambassadors of "Made in Italy", has once again been rewarded globally for its academic excellence

ESCP Business School's Master in International Food & Beverage Management has been reconfirmed in first place globally in the Eduniversal ranking of the best specialised programmes preparing for an international managerial career in the food and beverage industry. An important recognition that once again rewards the academic excellence and uniqueness in the international panorama of this innovative course of study, which is aimed at grasping new trends in the sector. Taught in English in both Italy and France - the two symbolic places of world food and wine excellence - it has the ambitious goal of creating future ambassadors of "Made in Italy" in the world.

There are three criteria that made ESCP stand out among more than 5,500 masters’ and MBAs worldwide analysed by Eduniversal:

  • the programme's prestige and recognition among companies that recruit young talents;
  • the salary at the first job after graduation and the achievement of the best positions in the job market;
  • student satisfaction based on feedback received after graduation.

"The Eduniversal ranking confirms the master's degree as a global excellence and demonstrates once again the validity of our pragmatic and multicultural educational model that trains professionals with international outlooks and transversal skills. This result, combined with the academic experience, has been achieved by building strong relationships with the best companies in the sector, providing our students with the necessary knowledge to embark on a successful career in Food and Beverage Management" - says Prof. Francesco Rattalino, ESCP Turin Campus Dean.

"This recognition fills us with pride. It is the result of the passionate and intense teamwork of the entire school, which invests a great deal of energy in the training of future leaders in Food and Beverage, a sector with enormous potential and which confirms Italy and France as being outstanding at an international level, - adds Prof. Francesco Venuti, Academic Director of the Master in International Food & Beverage Management. - Although relatively young, the course has gained an excellent reputation, responding to the needs of the sector by training talented, passionate and well-prepared managers, ready to face the challenges of the future”.

In a constantly changing sector such as Food & Beverage, there is a growing demand for training that is multidisciplinary and international in scope, and at the same time practical in order to understand the dynamics that oversee the industry. This is why ESCP's master's programme offers its participants the opportunity to come into direct contact with an extraordinary variety of companies - from multinationals to small and medium-sized enterprises up to start-ups - in order to provide students with a real competitive edge needed to work in this field or start up their own business, learning how to anticipate important growing trends such as digital innovation, circular economy, food waste, "farm to fork" strategies and sustainability. The increasing focus on these green issues has led to a collaboration with FAO, including some FAO Academy courses among the electives offered to students.
The classroom experience is then enriched and complemented by consulting projects, company visits and internships in the best Italian and international companies in the sector, as well as the opportunity to access a wide global network of top managers, professionals and Alumni of ESCP Business School.

At the end of the programme, each student will obtain two certificates: the Postgraduate Diploma in Food & Beverage awarded by ESCP and the DEAMIE, Diplôme d'Études Avancées en Management International des Entreprises, i.e. the Diploma of Advanced Studies in International Business Management issued by the French Ministry and equivalent in number of university credits to an Italian Laurea Magistrale.
