Drew Shagrin is a Permanent Affiliate Professor of Business Law at ESCP Business School in the department of Economics, Law and Social Sciences. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California at Berkeley, and an AB from Dartmouth College. He is a member of the bar of the State of California.
At ESCP, he teaches a broad range of law courses, from contracts to finance. He also teaches Business Ethics at the Sciences-Po Paris School of Law.
Prior to becoming a professor, he had two first careers: first as a legal practitioner, representing clients in California in complex public-private partnership transactions; then as an entrpreneur, founding, growing, and selling a multi-brand online fashion business.
His research focuses on corporate governance.
