A new President for the ESCP Foundation

Jean-Stéphane Arcis (85) has been elected President of the ESCP Foundation and takes over from Christian Mouillon (77)

He is a 59-year-old entrepreneur with ESCP European DNA originating from his multi-campus academic career (Paris > Oxford > Düsseldorf). During his professional path, he participated in the birth and development of the business software industry in France and Europe. In 2007, he founded Talentsoft, which fifteen years later became the European leader in Human Resources software in the Cloud. He is also a driving force in French Tech development, having been Chairman of the Cloud committee of the French Association of Software Publishers for several years, and by bringing Talentsoft into the first ranking of the NEXT 40 (ranking of the 40 French star Tech companies). Following the sale of Talentsoft to Cegid in 2020 - one of the most important French Tech transactions - Jean-Stéphane is entering a third phase in his career oriented towards consulting entrepreneurs, investment and donations with impact.

The torch is passed to him by Christian Mouillon (77) who, during his two terms of office, played a crucial role in the implementation of the first “Brand & Size” strategic plan of the Dean & Executive President of ESCP, Prof. Frank Bournois, to help the School grow and strengthen its brand. Christian Mouillon also supported the design of the 2022-2027 strategy, “Choice & Experiences”, centered on the student experience.

On the strength of the above, Jean-Stéphane wishes to speed up the actions of the Foundation and increase their impact.

ESCP benefits from an extraordinary momentum and is today on the podium of the best European business schools. The Foundation must support and sustain this success by helping to fund the School's excellence.

I want the Foundation to take a new step, with even stronger support and commitment from Alumni in conjunction with their Association.
